This is Matching Wits' take on the Q-Tip song "Gettin' Up." It was a fun challenge to write to this beat because it's a three-bar rhyme scheme, rather than the usual two or four. A.Po just went with a standard four-bar structure for the first verse, but I took my cue from Tip (get it?) and did mine three bars at a time. I actually "wrote" the whole verse in my head, something I usually like to do on at least one track per album.

NOTES FOR PARENTS: This is one of the cleanest tracks on this whole compilation. The only curse is "damn," but there are some mild sex and drug references (just pot, and nothing small kids would understand in either case). I think kids will really like this one and the "Crazy" remix that follows it.
